Blackwater   Campgrounds

Blackwater Campgrounds are located on the East End of Watertown
in the most esthetically natural surroundings, along banks of the
World Famous BLACK RIVER.

The Campgrounds are directly adjacent to one of the areas premier Whitewater play spots known as the Rt. 3 wave.
This high action site is best known as the home of the annual
”Blackwater Challenge”and hosting such prestigious events as the
2004 US Freestyle Kayak Team Trials
2005 North American Cup Freestyle Kayak Championships
2006 World Cup Freestyle Kayak Championships
2007 North American Cup Freestyle Kayak Championships
2008 Junior Can/Am Freestyle Kayak Championships

This area of the River is also well known for hiking, biking, fishing,
flat water paddling and has a formal (River walk) completely surrounding the  premises.

The location is also completely within City limits and is easily accessible to all kinds of shopping, dining, and modern conveniences.

10 campsites are available on a daily, weekly or monthly basis

Also featuring (1) deluxe cabin with separate bathroom, bedroom, and kitchenette, fully furnished.(Sleeps up to 4 persons).  Bring Sheets, blankets and towels.

And (1) camping cabin 12x12 with 12 foot porch, very cozy.(single or double occupancy).  Bring sheets, blankets, and towels.

The campsites and small cabin have full access to Bathrooms and Showers located in the Bathhouse facility at the campground site.
